Item Description
Lot of three 27x41" one sheet posters for the 1946 Universal 13 chapter movie serial. Included are original 1946 release posters for Chapter 1 "Himalaya Horror" and Chapter 4 "The Pit Of Pendrang." Both posters feature different art as well as bw photos from the film. Also included is 1951 re-release poster for the overall serial (not chapter-specific) featuring different design that incorporates more film images. Posters have been folded (now rolled) as originally issued and Chapter 1 poster has pin holes at corners. Posters have varying degrees of handling wear/aging and have some small scattered edge tears and corner creases. Fold crease intersections also show some wear w/tape added to backs of both original release posters. Both original release posters also have aged tape strips along top/bottom margins. Fine overall.
