Item Description
Pair of 27x41" one sheet posters for Republic serials, both featuring Canadian Royal Mounted Police. First is for the original 1942 release of the 12 chapter "King Of The Mounties" serial; Chapter 2 "Road To Death." Poster features Mountie image w/inset film scene showing spaceship. Poster has been folded (now rolled) as issued and has moderate wear along top margin w/pieces of tape, spots of moisture staining and paper tape reinforcements added to back of poster. Moderate wear at fold crease intersections. Margins show moderate wear w/pieces of clear tape on front and paper tape added to back. Bottom margin also has added paper reinforcement added along entire bottom margin, only slightly infringing upon chapter title. Lower right has some moisture staining w/streaks at lower left. Good/VG. Second is for original 1953 release of the 12-chapter "Canadian Mounties Vs. Atomic Invaders" serial. Poster is not chapter-specific and features great Mountie image. Scattered lt. margin wear w/1" vertical split at top center fold line and some lt. fold crease intersection wear including some small holes. Poster would still display VF if framed.
