Item Description
11x15-1/8" sheet has expressive pencil drawings of Buck Rogers, Dr. Huer and Wilma Deering. Bold "Buck Rogers 25th Century" name across top w/Dick Calkins' signature below "Hi - Rick! From Your Old Pal" at lower right corner. c. early 1950s. Calkins was the first artist to draw the "Buck Rogers" comic strip, serving as artist from 1929-1947. Sheet has scattered aging w/more moderate aging to margins, bottom and right margins having a few small tears as it has become brittle. Small margin flake and 1" tear w/archival tape repair on reverse by signature. 1.5" tear at upper left also has archival tape repair. Sheet is VG but art remains clean and VF overall and would look nice framed.
