Item Description
Original photo illustrated window box contains 5" long die-cast metal and plastic mecha made in Japan for the Japanese market by Takatoku, 1976. Based on the "Time Bokan" anime series that aired in Japan from Oct. 4, 1975 to Dec. 25, 1976. Produced by Tatsunoko Productions in partnership w/Topcraft, the series features group searching for scientist who has created insect-shaped time machines only to get lost in time. Offered here is the Dangororin, a ship modeled on a pill bug (aka roly polies or doodle bugs). Ship is segmented and can roll up into a ball and features flip-out drill bit nose. Box is complete w/original cardboard insert and comes w/sealed bag of accessories and illustrated catalog. Box has some corner tip wear w/.25" tear at one corner and is Fine/VF overall w/contents NM as packaged. Scarce as boxed.
