Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains 5.5" tall die-cast metal and plastic toy made in Japan for the Japanese market by Popy, 1976. Based on the "Tosho Daimos" anime series produced by Sunrise. Daimos is the third installment of the Robot Romance Trilogy, following "Chodenji Robo Combattler V" and "Chodenji Machine Voltes V." It aired from April 1, 1978 to Jan. 27, 1979. Figure shoots included plastic missiles from fold-out sections on sides of legs and comes w/two pairs of fists that can be fired from spring-loaded arms. Original plastic bag has been opened, but all contents are complete. Box has American store price sticker is complete w/original Styrofoam insert and cover, illustrated instruction sheet and full color catalog. Box shows moderate shelf wear to one side. Fine overall w/contents NM as packaged.
