Item Description
Pair of 5" long tin litho friction guns made using same mold, but w/different graphics, despite both having "Space Gun" name on sides. Both are unmarked but were made in Japan by Haji, 1960s. One gun has realistic "NASA" space capsule w/astronaut design while other shows futuristic rocketship w/cartoon spaceman graphics. Both has die-cut windows w/red translucent plastic allowing for viewing of sparks produced when triggers are pulled. Both also make siren sound when uses. Guns have some scattered wear in the form of small paint nicks/scratches w/more moderate wear (and trace oxidation) to "NASA" gun, which is Fine/VF. Other gun is VF overall. Nice pair. From the collection of Hans "RAYGUNMAN" Hobert.
