Item Description
Original cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 8.5" long tin litho and plastic gun made in Japan, marked w/"N" mark on bottom of grip. 1960s. Box is complete w/cardboard barrel insert. Lid has some warping and side panel has 1.25" tear w/corner tip wear w/creases. Fine. Gun uses same mold as "Universe Gun" (see item #2379) and features translucent barrel and has "Astro Ray Gun" name across top w/great outer space graphics. Gun is friction powered and produces siren and clicking noises when trigger is pulled. No sparks. Gun has some scattered lt. wear in the form of tiny paint nicks/scratches and trigger has some luster loss. Still displays VF. Rare as boxed. From the collection of Hans "RAYGUNMAN" Hobert.
