Item Description
5.75x9.5x2.5" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 5" long hard plastic gun w/attachment at tip to launch the three included plastic saucer discs. Though unmarked w/exception of Toho maker name, we believe this gun to have been made in Japan, 1950s. Box is complete w/die-cut insert (which shows wear) and lid shows aging/wear w/slight inward warp w/creases at corners as well as some corner tip wear. One lid corner split. VG/Fine. Gun has raised "Planet" name on left side of fin and saucers are placed in gun and wound, pulling trigger releases it. We only wound the gun slightly to test it, not wound enough to make saucer fly. Gun has a few minor melt marks and saucers have some aging. Fine/VF overall. From the collection of Hans "RAYGUNMAN" Hobert.
