Item Description
1.5x2.25" Cuban card produced for the Aguilitas Cigarette brand and a follow up to the 1924-25 series. The baseball cards are a subset featuring 37 players from the Cuban Professional League. This extensive 900 card set also featured movie and stage stars, boxers, soccer players and other subjects.
Carlos Zarza had a brief career with the Almendares with a stat line of .167/.167/.426 over 14 games. However, for the collector of 1926-27 Aguilitas, this card would be a great addition and is in fantastic condition, grading at 80 EX/NM 6 with only one higher in the SGC population. Designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
