Item Description
1-5/8x2.25" Cuban card tobacco issue. Numbered C21-60, the baseball cards are part of a much larger set that also features boxers, actors and actresses, nudes and more. The baseball sub-set pictures mostly players from the 1923-24 Cuban Professional League. Printed on glossy paper, the cards were meant to be glued into an album.

Oscar Tuero played for parts of three seasons in the Cuban Winter League with Habana and Almendares with a combined record of 8-10 and a 2.89 ERA. He also played for parts of two seasons in MLB with the St. Louis Cardinals with a record of 6-9 and a 2.88 ERA. This card is graded at a 30 Good 2 and is designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
