Item Description
3.5x5.25" w/glossy photo front and postcard back. We believe there are 10 in this set despite less being listed elsewhere. Front features facsimile signature as well as text block at bottom left "Cortesia De Kellogg's Corn Flakes." Reverse has ink stamp reading "Asoc Nac De Peloteros/Profesionales De Cuba" along w/image of a glove, baseball and crossed bats. All cards in this set are scarce.

Roberto Ortiz was an outfielder over parts of six seasons (1941-44, 1949-50) with the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Athletics. For his career, he compiled a .255 batting average in 659 at bats, with eight home runs and 78 runs batted in. This card is graded 40 VG 3 and has been designated by SGC as being from the "Richard Merkin Collection" and comes with Hake's COA.
