Item Description
Smallest is 13/16" for first seen "Remember The Maine" lapel stud. Tiny bit of gray tone at center and small scuff. VG. Largest is 2-1/8" for Iowa Welcome button which has W&H paper used 1898-1900. Issued for their return from Manila Nov. 1899. First two items in row 1 are both "Free Cuba". The first a brass star on flag bow hanger and the second a die-cut litho tin stickpin. In row 2, first is litho with pair of small prongs at top of reverse. Appears to be early incarnation of what later become the "tab". Shows Uncle Sam "Bound For Cuba/Gosh Darn Yer". Rare. Next with Uncle Sam is classic design of him marching by signpost "On The Way To Cuba". The three litho items are VF and the two buttons are NM displaying Mint.
