Item Description
First is single day dated 1.25" button w/W&H paper. Issued by "Laycock Mfg. Co." with date at top for May 1, '98 when Dewey won his one day battle with the Spanish fleet in the Philippines. Bottom text names "Mfrs. Iron Beds, Cots Cribs, Springs & C." Pinpoint cello speck off back by collet w/front cello NM displaying Mint. Second is 2-5/8" long hinged lid match safe that was once silvered but now 95% brass tone. Front image and "Battle Ship Maine/Destroyed In Havana Harbor Feb. 15, '98." Shallow 1/8" diameter dent on side of ship. Fine. Last is 5.5" silk ribbon "Remember The Maine". Mint. First two are rare and ribbon is scarce.
