Item Description
One of many versions, this is 1917 "Exhibition Set" No. 2004 (as noted on lid). 8.75x12.25x2.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid label featuring graphics of child magician w/wand pointing to table w/several magic tricks, including top hat w/white rabbit. Front of tablecloth has image of winged devil w/"Mysto" name. A.C. Gilbert, 1917. Box has moderate corner tip/edge wear w/one partial lid corner split. Box has partial edge split to front of box bottom. Fine overall. Set appears complete w/cardboard insert inside lid, lift out cardboard tray and tray insert, holding a number of different tricks in die-cut sections w/cardboard circle dividers. All three inserts/trays have a number of envelopes containing different tricks, each is individually labeled. Set also comes w/"Manual Of Instruction For Gilbert Mysto Magic" and "Gilbert Mysto Magic And Puzzles" manuals and unused personal performance poster. Manuals show some wear/aging and are Fine overall. Contents show some scattered aging/wear, contents appear complete and show little to no use. Fine/VF overall. Nicely designed set.
