Item Description
Largest 20.75x25"/ smallest 7/8" dia. Included are: silver gelatin news photo of a demonstration w/large "Arrachons Mort Sacco & Vanzetti" sign and many other signs visible during a French protest (top right corner has been cut and two clean holes punched at left otherwise moderate creasing and handling, VG); a "Sacco-Vanzetti Defense Committee" receipt for $1 donation dated "December 29th, 1923" and bearing a crisp embossed seal w/SVDC Boston address (a .5" square tape stain at top center, staple holes at top left and two modern archival tape remnants on reverse likely from previous framing, Fine); SVDC receipt letter for "$1.00" contribution w/portraits of both men at top (three horizontal folds at center, staple holes top left and .5" vertical tear at top left repaired on reverse w/archival tape, Fine); two 7/8" litho buttons from the mid to late 1920s (w/extensive paint wear, Good); c. 1970s 1.25" cello button commemorating the date of their electrocution and a framed Baltimore American newspaper w/large headline "Sacco And Vanzetti Executed" (edge toning and minor handling wear w/1.5" loss at top right corner, VG).
