Item Description
Typed letter on "Station A, Pasadena California" personal stationery and dated September 14, 1934.  Campaign content reads "Thank You Very Much For The Interest in Our Campaign And The Effort You Made To Show It. We Are Truly In The Midst Of Unusual Times And It Is Our Hope The EPIC Plan Will Usher In The Dawn Of Better Times." Signed boldly at conclusion "U. Sinclair." Moderate light brown toning and minor handling wear including two vertical mailing folds. Fine. Sinclair was the Democratic nominee for Governor in 1934 running largely on his campaign to End Poverty In California (EPIC). Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA LOA.
