Item Description
2-1/8" dia. button w/"Abat" maker's name on curl. Promotional button has "Soundblast '66" name and "Call 249-6520" phone number to order tickets. Button promotes TAJ Enterprises-produced June 10, 1966 concert that took place at Yankee Stadium, featuring The Cowsills, The McCoys, The Marvelettes, The Byrds, Jerry Butler, Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and The Beach Boys among others. While the stadium could hold a crowd of 70,000, only 9,000 tickets were sold. Despite the impressive line-up, the concert was not considered a success. Button has slight aging and trace surface wear, but remains totally bright and glossy. Exc. These buttons were made in very limited quantities and as such are rare.
