Item Description
14x22" thin cardboard poster for Sept. 29, 1966 Beach Boys concert that took place at Florida State University's Tully Gym. Poster was printed by Majestic Poster Press of Los Angeles, CA and features image of the band and blue waves accenting the text. Pinholes at corners and top/bottom margins w/five strips of tape at top margin, two strips at bottom and remnants of sticker at upper right corner. Some strips of surface paper lift on back of poster, not affecting front's display. Small penciled year by concert date and dots of blue paint added to time (giving the appearance of eyes). Scattered corner tip wear w/some creases. Poster has even moderate aging. VG/Fine overall. Despite the prominence of Surf Rock very few concert posters feature associated graphics making this a scarce Beach Boys artifact.
