Item Description
Original 8.5x14" single-sided flyer advertising a concert at Wichita State University's Henry Levitt Arena in Wichita, KS on June 27, 1969. Features a large color-by-number image of Hendrix w/event and ticketing information below. The show was canceled at the last minute due to a lack of early ticket sales. When thousands turned out the day of the show many reacted to the news violently nearly causing a riot. NM. A high grade example of an unusual one off show flyer dated only two days before what would be the Experience's final show at the Denver Pop Festival.
