Item Description

8x13.75x9.25" tall cardboard box contains 12 pint bottles of flavored "Syrups For Soft Drinks." Space Foods Co. of Baltimore, MD. c. 1950s. Box is illustrated w/space images including bottle images and "Asteroid Airdrome" base. Box complete w/dividers shows lt. aging/trace of wear and is Fine/VF. Figural glass bottles hold ray guns at sides and feature painted details, original labels and are complete w/caps/cardboard tabs that fit under caps. Each bottle never filled and remain in immaculate condition. Flavors marked on sides and tops of caps include - Orange, Cherry, Lemon-Lime and Raspberry. Each spaceman has "Saturn" name and planet image w/different colors/ranks. Ranks are: "Space Admiral, Space Bombardier, Space Sentry, Space Navigator, Interplanetary Commander, Space Scout, Space Ace, Orbit Admiral, Asteroid Commander and Space Commander". Duplicate rank of "Space Sentry" and "Space Scout." Bottles also doubled as banks as caps have coin slot. Bottles NM. Makes for a neat display w/box.
