Item Description
14x19". SLP leader Daniel DeLeon was editor of its newspaper "The People" starting in 1890. He ran for Governor of New York state in 1891, 1902 and 1904. The calendar features a bold graphic of an arm and hammer at top center with anvil below. Lengthy verses on either side of the 1896-1897 calendar "Attack The Throne Of The Capital King." Scattered margin tears/chips w/some archival tape repairs at top and bottom. VG. These could easily be matted and calendar would display VF to Exc. An interesting and rare item from an early third party that issued very little collectible material.See also DeLeon portrait painting #388.
