Item Description
There are very few Colts items (1962-64) and Muchinsky notes in his book the only three he knew of featured the team name and crossed bats design. These two items are from his collection, acquired after his book came out. First features crossed Colt style pistols over state of Texas outline. Exc. and displays Mint. Second is 3.25" long brass luster and orange enamel paint key chain with same crossed guns logo. NM. The team became the Astros in 1965 and moved into the Astrodome known as 'The Eighth Wonder Of The World.' These three items are c. 1965. First is brass luster 2.75" tall "Marshal" badge with raised oval below  "Astrodome/Houston, Texas". NM. Last are page 187 pair of Muchinsky book plate specimens. Each 3". Orange is NM, blue has much, but subtle, stain mixed in which shows but is not dark and colors remain bold and with full gloss. VG. Five scarce items. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
