Item Description
Two 3.5" buttons, one with 5.5" ribbon plus giant 6" button. The two 3.5" buttons both include artist name "Amadee". The one with horseshoe and "Official Lucky Emblem" is #302 page 500. This has obvious tan dots on top and bottom edges. VG. The second with "World Series Or Busto!!" ribbon is unlisted. Heavy oxidation on metal back but front shows only the slightest age traces. The 6" button is #312, page 505. There is a single pinpoint cello nick and in reflected light a few 1-3" hairline scratches but with normal viewing still displaying at least NM. Muchinsky notes the Card's "colorful" first baseman Orlando Cepeda inspired the use of Latino images and words such as "El Birdos" and "El Cardos". Three scarce buttons. Paul Muchinsky Collection.
