Item Description
Pair of hardcover books by celebrated children's author/illustrator Maurice Sendak (1928-2012). Both come w/original, unclipped dust jackets. "Outside Over There" was published by Harper & Row, ©1981. Frontispage has black felt tip pen inscription "For Carolyn, Koy, Daniel & Theresa - Maurice Sendak - Sept. 81" w/portrait sketch of Carol from Sendak's award-winning book "Where The Wild Things Are." DJ shows some scattered edge/corner tip wear and is VF overall. Book is NM. The Sendak-illustrated 1984 edition of "Nutcracker" was signed in blue ink by Sendak on bookplate on title page. DJ shows some scattered edge/corner tip wear and is VF overall. Book is NM.
