Item Description
19-5/8x24" artboard has acrylic original art and separate overlay w/acetate sheet overlay has painted front cover title and spine title. For 1957 Whitman book. Wonderful art shows Roy Rogers and Trigger (on front cover) about to enter cave (on back cover) where a gunman waits in ambush. Overlay border has label noting job title, customer and date, but does not list artist. Overlay has scattered strips of tape staining and both overlay and artboard have moderate corner tip wear. Top right and right margins have scattered paint marks as made by artist but these could be easily matted out. Artboard is Fine overall while art remains clean and Exc. overall and would benefit from matting and framing.
