Item Description
2-3/8x6x.75" deep cardboard box w/illustrated lid contains 1.25x1-5/8" chrome luster case New Haven watch (see full display, item #1054), ©1951 Chicago Tribune. Watch features dial w/"Dick Tracy" name/image w/Tracy's arm (w/pistol drawn) being animated, going up and down as if shooting as each second ticks by. Box is complete w/cardboard insert and has even aging w/corner tip wear and crease along left edge of lid. Box o/w remains tight. Insert shows some scattered wear as well, w/1" tear at inner top. Fine overall. Watch has original leather bands and is working. Exc./NM. Choice condition, rare as boxed.
