Item Description
8-7/8x12" stiff cardboard display sign w/easel back and die-cut slots for holding New Haven wrist watches. 1951. Pictured characters featured on New Haven watches include Gene Autry, Annie Oakley and Dick Tracy (w/Dick Tracy Jr.), however watch featured only Dick Tracy w/moving gun. Display has some lt. aging/wear but is VF/Exc. overall. Rare. Comes w/six 1.25x1-5/8" chrome luster metal case watches w/original leather bands, each w/foil tag noting original price of $6.95 plus tax. These six watches comprise the compete set of five different designs, including the very rare variant Dick Tracy watch w/snub nose revolver as opposed to more commonly seen pistol. Aside from the Dick Tracy pair, other watches include - Gene Autry, Annie Oakley and two different Li'l Abner watches; one w/animated American flag, one w/animated mule head. All watches feature animated second hand. Bands show some scattered wear but case/dials are Exc. overall. Rare full display that will easily become the center of your character timepiece collection.
