Item Description
11x17" DC Comics artboard and 11.5x16-3/8" artboard features original pen and ink art by same team as previous item #1509. DC artboard features comic style art in five panels, featuring Superman, Daily Planet building, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen as well as assortment of Burger King kid's meal prizes. The "Superman Launcher" is paste-over. Art was used for 1997-1998 "Burger King Kids Club Adventures" folder/promotion as noted by handwritten text on "DC Comics Licensing Dept. inkstamp on back. Margins have some scattered aging but art remains Exc. Signed at bottom right by Doescher. Comes w/Burger King folder featuring some of this art. Second artboard features image of Superman in flight. Used for Kraft Mac & Cheese print ads as noted by handwritten text on "DC Comics Licensing Dept. inkstamp on back. Exc. Franco Toscanini Collection.
