Item Description
Original illustrated cardboard box contains original Styrofoam insert (w/cover) containing 8" tall die-cast metal and plastic robot from the Japanese "X-Bomber" marionette tokusatsu (any live-action film or TV drama that features considerable use of special effects) series created by manga master Go Nagai. Produced by Cosmo Productions/Jin Productions, the show aired on Fuji TV from Oct. 4, 1980 to March 28, 1981. Takatoku Toys, produced for the Japanese market in the early 1980s. Box shows some scattered edge/corner tip wear. Styrofoam insert has .75" piece out of edge. Fine/VF. Robot is complete w/pair of hands to fire from spring-loaded wrists as well as sword, unused sprue of plastic missiles and accessories for when robot transforms into aircraft. Also comes w/illustrated instruction paper. NM.
