Item Description
1.25" w/St. Louis Button Co. back paper. Clock hands positioned 16 minutes to 1 o'clock representing Bryan's position on the ratio of silver to gold coinage 16 to 1. Design is about 1/16" off center. This slight off centering is a very typical feature of this button and we don't recall seeing any that are truly perfectly centered. Otherwise upper left quadrant has a slight flattened surface between 9 and 12 o'clock that is noticeable in reflected light and does not affect the display. Exc. Rare.
