Item Description

Small 2-7/8" tall tin litho. Ohio Art and made for holding candy by Overland Candy Co. of Chicago, IL. ©1949 WDP. Pail features great beach scene showing Donald Duck carrying sand pail and shovel, followed by his nephews (each carrying their own shovel) and Pluto, who carries pail in his mouth. Early use of "Disneyland" name as this pail pre-dates park by six years. Pail rim shows just the slightest trace of wear and pail is Exc. Shovel shows some lt. wear and is VF/Exc. Doug & Pat Wengel Collection.
