Item Description
16x20" display features six photos from STS-61-B, NASA's 23rd Space Shuttle mission, and its second using Space Shuttle Atlantis. Launched from Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Nov. 26, 1985 the  STS-61-B shuttle crew deployed three communications satellites and tested techniques of constructing structures in orbit. Photos show launch, images of the Shuttle (including spacewalk) and crew photo (featuring some interesting costumes to say the least). Display also includes 4x4.75" embroidered mission patch that was carried on the flight. Display has been signed in silver paint pen "To Mary Lee Meider - With Thanks For All The Help And Super Support!" w/o signature. Lower right has been signed by five crew members in black felt tip pen - Brewster H. Shaw Jr., Sherwood (Woody) Spring, Bryan D. O'Connor, Mary Cleave and Jerry L. Ross; w/most signing only their first name. Display has some lt. corner tip wear but is o/w Exc. Comes w/Hake's COA and JSA COA.
