Item Description
33x47" poster for March 1, 1938 dance party for students that took place at the The Schwabylon, a dancehall affiliated w/Schwabinger Brewery of Munich, Germany. Poster features great Halloween-like art by Sven Bjerregaard of hissing black cat surrounded by images of fleeing Centaur, serpent, Adam & Eve and various animals. Poster was printed by Kunstimdruck of Munich. Small inked number at lower left. Lower right has 3/8x1" corner piece reattached. Top margin has some scattered staining from strip of backing added to reverse. Rolled. Main image remains clean and poster still displays well w/strong color. Fine/VF.
