Item Description
11-1/8x14.25" stiff artboard w/tempera original art for cover to Saalfield coloring book. 1966 as noted by pencil at bottom left. Great cover featuring Katnip being frightened by angry cartoon dog drawn over mouse hole Herman stands in. Some production notations along bottom margin. Artboard has attached acetate sheet w/title stat paste-over as well as two onionskin overlays, one w/hand-colored title. Artboard comes w/plain brown paper overlay w/Harvey label and 'Herman And Katnip Coloring Book" title. Art is Exc. Comes w/pair of 8.25x10.75" Saalfield "Herman And Katnip" coloring books that are unused and aside from minor corner tip wear to one, coloring books are Exc. to NM file copy quality. One book has file copy stamp on front cover.
