Item Description
Lot consists of resin casts and test molds for German Ideal (not to be confused w/American Ideal company) squirt gun, 1964. Lot includes 3x6-3/8x1-3/8" deep resin molds used for producing 9" long finished gun (which two translucent sparkle halves are included in this lot). Molds were made in Germany by tool and die maker J.G. Schrödel of Nuremberg. The finished gun featured rotating interior w/three alien figures. A smaller 6.5" long version was also released w/single alien figure. Both were released in 1964. Lot also includes two solid resin test casts of the 9" gun (left/right) as well as test casts for larger 13.5" version of the squirt gun that was ultimately not produced. Large test casts are missing handles as produced. Molds have some notations and show wear from use. VF overall. Rest is Exc. Rare and unique.
