Item Description
Each is 2-3/8" tall. Each has tin covered back and vertical pin. No makers name. The Henry was issued for "June 38" and there is only one earlier known character graduation button with that one featuring Little King dated 1936 from W.P.H.S. Henry is NM displaying Mint. Second dated for "Feb. '41" shows Blondie & Dagwood's son who during the 1941 era was known as Baby Dumplin and later in his teen years as Alexander. There are about four graduation buttons known that are earlier than this one. The area of the lower chair has small raised bump caused by reverse bar pin during manufacturing. Otherwise only some light tan tone to the cream background. Couple of tiny cello indents show in reflected light. Fine and with full gloss. Both are rare.
