Item Description
5/8" pin-back button accented by die-cut celluloid shaped like a rwb cloth bow. An actual small cloth ribbon is suspended below and joins to a 1.25" brass medal showing both men in a boxing ring with crowds and oil derricks in the background. Rim text is "Championship/Demsey/Gibbons/Shelby, Mont. July 4, 1923." Tiny bit of grey tarnish but about 97% Mint luster. Blank reverse as issued. Only our second example in our 50 years.
