Item Description
Large and impressive 20x43.25" paper sign w/choice graphics of Popeye at right holding up a sheet of transfers, featuring Popeye, Wimpy, Olive Oyl and "Popeye's Anchor" tattoo" as Wimpy looks on from left. These premium transfers were offered for free w/IGA Rolled Oats. ©1935 KFS, Inc. Four different sized signs were produced (see following items #2218-2220), and this sign is the largest of them. Comes w/unused sheet of transfers as well as envelope that once held 60 transfers. Transfers are NM. Sign has three vertical folds w/some minor corner tip wear, but remains bright and clean. Exc. Rarest of the four signs produced. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
