Item Description
3/4 X 15/16" brass frame complete with "T" hinged reverse bar pin holding glass with reverse painted scene in strong colors with grassy foreground divided by brown path leading to log cabin accented by tree at right and with rooftop big flag in red/blue and brown smoke rising from chimney. Near pinpoints of glass off top two corners and pinpoint surface flake off bottom right corner. Some tiny areas of air under the paint primarily over window and door of cabin. Just beneath green tree leaves at left and right of trunk is a 1/16" hairline in the paint, seen only microscopically but no paint loss anywhere on the scene. Defects are all very tiny and overall condition is extremely Fine. This is a very richly colored and beautiful unique hand painted brooch with intact pin.
