Item Description
1.75" with W&H back paper used 1900-1912. Original owner neatly wrote his name in ink across the lower portion of the paper. Depicted is Shriner wearing fez and with his coattails flying in the wind as he holds a baton and reins guiding a giant locust towards his destination. Rim text is "Flight Of Locusts To Kansas City 1901 From Great American Desert." Exc. and displays Mint. Our last, without the back paper, realized close to $700 in Auction #218. This example is one of only four we've seen in five decades. Rare.
