Item Description
First three are 1-1/8" litho and the last two are 1.5" cello. These buttons were used by both USA and Canadian banks participating in the Hopalong Cassidy Savings Club. The Canadian buttons were done in a smaller size than the USA buttons. Buttons were awarded as child reached a designated level in their savings account. Of the five lower ranks, the group includes these three: Tenderfoot, Wrangler, Bronc Buster. These were issued as the account grew from $2 to $125. The last two buttons are the highest ranks. The silver colored "Straw Boss" button was awarded at $250 and the gold foil "Foreman" was awarded at $500. Straw Boss button has tiny dot indent at lower right. Otherwise all five are Exc. to NM.
