1.25" very graphic button showing Lone Ranger on Silver who is rearing up against a background of clouds, mountains and trees. Surrounding text is "The 'Lone Ranger'/Comic/Daily And Sunday/Examiner." This button was issued in 1938 used as a promotion for the expansion of the strip from just a daily to include a full color Sunday page in the Chicago Herald and Examiner. Only the third example we've offered of this button in our 50 years. Our last example exceeded $300. Exc. and displays Mint. Historic and rare.
