Item Description
8.5x11" white paper sheet printed in blue at right that shades gradually to red at left. Handbill announces "Nobody For President In 1976 Victory Rally" Nov. 2 at New York City's Dag Hammarskjold Plaza. Entertainment features listed are "Wavy Gravy & Nobody Will Speak!" plus music by The Hog Farm and a "Surprise Band." We've seen a New York Times article describing the event and quoting Wavy Gravy. Handbill is rare limited issue for the event since the New York Times article states attendance was "Fourteen Adults, One Baby, Three Dogs And One Chicken." Also included is a 1.25" litho button from the event. Handbill has vertical crease and center and a light diagonal crease extending horizontally across entire piece. These are well flattened and detract minimally. VF. Scarce. Button has only a pair of surface scratches at 7 o'clock near edge. Exc. Scarce.
