Item Description
15-3/8x22-1/8" mat contains early thin linen featuring wonderful art of woman and goat frolicking, woman holding sign that reads "A Genuine Spanish Hand Made Cheroot" while goat has "Full Havana Filler - Every Cheroot Warranted" sign attached to bow around neck. Textile was milled by Heffron & Phelps of New York, 1890s. Textile has slight trim to all sides, but would make for an Exc. display if framed. Early and scarce.
