Item Description
Pair of advertising mugs for Pennsylvania-based beverage businesses. Both c. 1910. 4.25" tall "Hartman's Bitters" mug is painted milk glass. Hartman's was a bottler of many alcoholic beverages and was based in Schuylkill Haven, PA. Monk image was used in advertising referring to their harvesting herbs used in making bitters. Some scattered paint wear w/tiny rim hairlines as fired but VF overall. 5.25" tall "Dove Brand Ginger Ale" mug is painted ceramic. Penn'a Bottling & Supply Co. Ltd. was a bottler based in Philadelphia, PA. Mug features Dove Brand logo and figural lion-topped handle. Mug has lt. scattered wear and is VF overall.
