Item Description
Interesting 6" tall by 7.5" long Lustreware china figural boot souvenir from Minnie Eberlein's restaurant/saloon, which operated in Amsterdam, NY in the 1880s as listed in Amsterdam City Directories of the period. Underside of boot has incised manufacturer's name which appears to read "Bernhard - Behringer - [illegible]" and is dated 1884. Ornate boot's design includes panel designed to look as if attached to spur strap. This has printed text that reads "The Globe, M. Eberlein. Amsterdam." Some lt. paint wear to black edges, but o/w Exc.
