Item Description
Pair of prototype original art promoting 1950s Jell-O Disney promotion. 8-1/8x10.75" sheet of onionskin paper has lead pencil original art for sign features man and children looking at Mickey Mouse mold being removed from Jell-O treat. Hand-lettered text notes "This Package Contains A Set Of 4 Clever Aluminum Comic Jell-O Molds And 6 Assorted Packages Of Jell-O." Bottom left shows six Jell-O box images (though unmarked) and lower right lists the four molds produced - Mickey, Donald Duck, Pluto and Goofy. Sheet has some scattered handling wear/aging and is VF overall. 8.75x10.5" thin cardboard w/attached onionskin sheet has mixed media original art for what appears to be a standee of sorts, w/two panels, each w/sides to be folded and attached. One panel shows full figure Mickey Mouse image w/Mickey mold and Jell-O box while other has image of Donald Duck behind "Jell-O Comic-Molds" sign w/blank area for price. Art also notes the four molds produced. Sheet is evenly aged and has scattered dust soiling. Fine overall. Comes w/header stat w/hand-lettered "Jell-O Donald Duck Comic Mold" name. Header is for different offer on one single/one mold w/others offered separately on back. Unique lot for the Disney collector.
