Item Description
13.5x23.5" artboard has four attached strips of onionskin paper w/mixed media prototype original art for all four sides of novelty scope issued at the 1964 New York World's Fair. Top of each side has image of Unisphere and sides feature partial Unisphere image as well and the NYWF Twins using Fairiscopes. Hand-lettered text includes "See All The Wonders Of The Fair - Look Over Crowds - Look Up - Look Down - Look Back - Look Over Walls." Bottom has areas for sponsor names and instructions. Art has partial die-cut black paper mat, roughly half is missing. Lower right has "A Creation Of Sam Gold - Premium King" foil crown sticker. Artboard has some glue staining at top from mat. VG overall, and art have some tape/tears but all still displays nicely and would make for nice display if re-matted. Unique piece for the Expo collector. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold and comes with LOA.
