Original worn envelope w/"Harley-Davidson Motor Co." return address has typed dealer recipient name/address. Envelope shows obvious aging/wear and is just Good. Envelope contains 8-3/8x14" double-sided "Harley-Davidson Motorcycle, Sidecar And Package Truck Sales Contract" dated Sept. 24, 1927 and has typed name and address of Franklin, MA motorcycle dealer. Leon J. Landry. Contract lists motorcycle models/prices as well as an order of 20 Harley-Davidson motorcycles and eight "Side Attachments" over the course of the year. Back has been signed in black ink by dealer and in blue by Arthur Davidson (1881-1950), one of the four co-founders of Harley-Davidson who was responsible for setting up the company's nationwide network of dealers. Contract has been folded as mailed and is VF/Exc. w/just lt. handling wear. Comes with Hake's COA.
