Item Description
Pair of glossy photos, each approx. 8x10" and personalized to the same person, Dr. Charles Lee. First has been signed by Hungarian-born conductor and violinist Eugene Ormandy (1899-1985), best known for his association w/the Philadelphia Orchestra as its music director. Under his baton, the Philadelphia Orchestra had three gold records and won two Grammy Awards. Photo shows him conducting and he has signed in black marker, adding "June, 1970" date. Pinholes at top corners and lower right corner. Bottom center has aged pasteover w/Ormandy's name. Fine/VF. Second photo shows American modern dancer and choreographer Martha Graham (1894-1991). Photo has been signed in black felt tip pen. Back of photo has been dated 1972. Some lt. handling wear w/1" impression line below signature. VF. Comes with Hake's COA and JSA COAs.
